Election and replacement

Vote of Executive Council by Mail

A vote of Council by electronic or mail ballot requires affirmative responses from a majority of the total members of Council to carry a motion, made and seconded by Council members.

Replacement of Executive Council (Appointed) Members

Should a member of the Council not meet the responsibilities of the position, any two Council officers may call for a special meeting of the Council concerning removal of that member by notifying the President. The member in question shall have the opportunity to defend his/her performance. In a secret ballot vote, the concurrence of at least two-thirds of all the officers of the Council shall be required to remove the member. This position may then be declared vacant and subject to replacement by re-appointment, with the successful candidate to fill the remainder of the term.
